MINISTRIES
MINISTRIES
At Raleigh International Church, our mission is “Bringing Kingdom Revolution To The World!” Through this mission, we want to minister and reach as many lives as possible through the gifts, talents and gifts that God has given us. God ministered no matter where He was and we are charged to do the same.
We encourage you to explore our various opportunities to get involved and ask God for guidance to direct you where He has placed a passion and desire in your hearts. Our church has programs for all ages, interests and abilities. We look forward to ministering side by side with the wonderful people God has called to this church. Join our revolution today!
DIRECTOR: James Rogers
The RIC drama ministry is a unique ministry with a sole purpose to win people to Jesus Christ through the arts, and illustrate to the family of believers and throughout our community that drama is a fun and positive way to communicate God’s Word. We use the arts to display God’s glory through sketches in worship, miming, project restoration outreaches, banquet presentations, and Sunday School lessons.
All participants must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and see the ministry as an avenue for service to His people. It is important that all who are involved understand their role as a team player by being willing to meet for rehearsals, work on their own to perfect roles and be flexible availability for all services and events. Rehearsals are scheduled as needed.
DIRECTOR: Quincey Winston
Raleigh International Church Doorkeepers are literally Protectors of the Presence of God. As a Protector of His Presence, you are a servant and a soldier. God has entrusted you with authority and with the oversight of His people. Door Keepers is not a Sunday-to-Sunday obligation, but a never-ending service of love and commitment to the house of God, to the people of God, and to our Lord Jesus Christ. Even as the Lord has given you the heart and willingness to serve Him in this capacity, give Him your very best! Your sacrifice and your service will yield great eternal rewards.
Jesus said, “But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.”
(Matthew 23:1)

WOMEN
DIRECTOR: Mrs. Bertha Thornton
The women’s ministry of Raleigh International Church was established as an avenue for women of all ages and backgrounds to come together and find purpose and destiny in their lives. None of us had a choice on the time or conditions of our birth. Our birth was God ordained. Our desire is for women to find uniqueness in who they are and allow God to use them for His glory. It’s time to put aside all the excuses we use to disqualify ourselves. God raised Esther – an adopted Jewish orphan to a place of royalty to save her people. Take a look at your surroundings and circumstances. How could God use you? It’s a call to women to take the time to prepare themselves before the Lord to be used “For Such A Time as This”.

SINGLE L.I.F.E.
DIRECTOR: Belinda Austin
The purpose of Single L.I.F.E. is not to “find your soulmate” nor “hookup” with different people in the church. Single L.I.F.E. is a ministry dedicated to helping those who are currently single, whether they are divorced, widowed, or have never been married, discover & fulfill their purpose in life, identify their mission as a disciple of Jesus Christ, and be content in their present state of singleness. Whether one is to be single for a season or a lifetime, we must learn how to be content & enjoy life to the fullest!
Phil 4:11; John 10:10
DIRECTOR: Betty Nickelson
The RIC Hospitality ministry plays no small role in the realm of biblical ethics. Christian hospitality begins with worship and gratitude to God and is cultivated over a lifetime. Hospitality depicts righteous, godly behavior. “Hospitality concerns our attitude. We should not complain about the command to be hospitable (1 Pet. 4:9). Practicing hospitality without complaint requires the mind of Christ (Phil. 2:1-11) by which we consider the needs of others to be more important than our own needs. It will cost you time and resources. Therefore, we must invite people into our private space”. The key to effective hospitality is your stewardship, God entrusted to you. Stewardship as it pertains to hospitality may be in form of your home, your table, your food, your stereo, your car — if he/she needs a ride to your home, then your time, your energy — God gives all to you, to be used for the edification of the Body of Christ for His glory. In addition, the ministry of hospitality is a great opportunity to share your stewardship with others. However, being obedient to the Word of God requires that we not only provide the ministry of hospitality, but we avail ourselves to the ministry when it is required of us. “Displaying hospitality also may provide unknown honors. The writer of Hebrews (Heb. 13:2) tells us that by displaying hospitality, some had the honor and privilege of entertaining angels without even knowing it. It is evident that sometimes providing hospitality rewards the host with a special honor of being used in a special way by God”. Our church will grow stronger as our life touches other lives. Then the lost around us will know that we are acquainted with each other in the body of Christ. In practical ways when we invite them to share in the ministry of hospitality. Can you see yourself touching a family in the middle of a crisis by helping to prepare, purchase or deliver a meal? Then this ministry is perfect for those that love to serve others and touch people with the love of Christ when they need it the most. Our goal is to have our hearts in tune with God’s heart for meeting the needs of others, as we reach beyond ourselves to fulfill those needs. | |

“But if anyone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need and refuses to help — how can God’s love be in that person? Dear children, let us stop just saying we love each other; let us really show it by our actions. It is by our actions that we know we are living in the truth, so we will be confident when we stand before the Lord.”
